Systems & infrastructure
Below are some of Nathan's recent Systems & infrastructure projects.
Infrastructure That Just Works
Building a website or application is only half the job. It also has to run reliably, in the real world, under real conditions. Nathan handles the infrastructure side of projects: server and hardware deployment, CI/CD pipelines, containerisation, and monitoring, so that what gets built also gets shipped and stays running.
This isn’t an afterthought bolted onto development, it’s planned in from the start, whether that’s a single web app or a distributed system running across multiple physical locations.
From start to finish your service has been excellent, and the outcome is better than I could have imagined. WTS have had websites built in the past and they really don’t compare to what you have done for us here.
I’m looking forward to continuing our working relationship with you managing and hosting my website. I will be recommending your services to anyone who needs this sort of work done.
Once again thanks for all your help.
DevOps Done Properly
DevOps gets thrown around a lot, often to describe little more than running a deploy script. Nathan’s approach is broader: owning the full path from code to production, including the unglamorous plumbing that keeps things reliable when things don’t go to plan… network drops, scaling demands, or hardware in the field rather than a tidy data centre.
From deployment pipelines to container orchestration and ongoing monitoring, this service is for clients who want more than just working code. They want a system that keeps working.
Latest Systems & infrastructure article
I very occasionally write blog articles about my work, and my work related experiments. Below is a preview of the most recent one related to Systems & infrastructure.
